Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- In a large pan, heat a splash of oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef to the pan and sear for about 5-7 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the rice and toast for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Stir in the sliced bell pepper and green peas, then return the seared beef to the pan. Mix gently and cook for another 5 minutes until heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with sliced spring onions.
