Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the beef cubes and sear until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the cumin seeds, coriander powder, turmeric, and chili powder. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Return the beef to the pot, add the beef broth, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low, cover, and braise for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Once the beef is tender, taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve the beef over the cooked noodles, garnished with fresh cilantro and red chili flakes.
